The Curaçaoan zoo, on former plantation Cas Córà, is small but a lot of fun for children. It features tropical, Caribbean, but especialy Curacao plants, huge saaay trees, flowers and of course, our inhabitants of the four legged, furry, feathered and scaly. In Parke Tropical there is a wide variety of animals to be admired from our region, the Caribbean area and South America.There are monkeys, lions, bears, crocodiles, other mammals and a lot of birds. There's a nature and environmentcenter where children can learn all about the difference and similarities between the senses of humans and all kinds of animals. There are two playgrounds for children of all ages. There's a 'kinderboerderij' which literally translated means 'childrens farm' where children can ride a horse and pet and even feed animals like rabbits, donkeys, pigs, goats and sheep. Next to the zoo is a botanical garden.
Opening hours: Monday till Friday from 8:00 - 12:00 AM and from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, Saturdau from 8:00 AM- 1:00 PM. Free admission
