Ronaldinho, also known by his nickname “O Bruxo” (The Wizard) — a World Cup champion, Ballon d’Or winner, and global ambassador of football artistry — elevates the 2026 edition to a truly historic level. His participation underscores the tournament’s growing international prestige and its mission to bring world-class football to the Caribbean.
The Legends Football Tournament Curaçao returns for its fourth edition in 2026, and this year promises to be the most spectacular yet. The Caribbean’s premier football showcase will welcome one of the greatest entertainers the sport has ever known — Ronaldinho Gaúcho, the Brazilian maestro whose genius transcended generations and redefined the joy of football.
On April 9 and 10, 2026, Capital Ç — transformed once again into a world-class football arena — will host two electrifying evenings of fast-paced matches featuring national teams composed of five legendary former internationals. Each match will be played in an intense 2 x 15-minute format, delivering nonstop action and unforgettable moments.
Following the overwhelming success of the previous three editions, the tournament has expanded from six to eight participating nations. This year, Spain and Italy join the lineup alongside Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, and host nation Curaçao.
Presented by Curaçao Airport Holding, in collaboration with the Curaçao Tourist Board, the 2026 edition brings together some of the most iconic names in football history. With special thanks to Curaçao Airport Partners for collaborating with CAH to bring the legendary star Ronaldinho, fans will also witness football greats such as Rivaldo and Lúcio (Brazil); Carlos “El Pibe” Valderrama and Faustino Asprilla (Colombia); Ariel Ortega and Rolando Schiavi (Argentina); Wesley Sneijder and Clarence Seedorf (Netherlands); and Ricardo Quaresma and Vítor Baía (Portugal).
Spain will be represented by Fernando Morientes and Michel Salgado, while Italy brings Marco Materazzi and Alessandro Nesta. Curaçao’s own heroes — including Stallone Isenia, Ranties “Terry” Rosina, and Ludjino “Jin” Hojer — complete this extraordinary roster.
